Mandarine (formerly known as Citra Enhanced) is a fork of Citra, the popular Nintendo 3DS emulator that was discontinued in March 2024, to which a number of tweaks and small hacks have been added, with the aim of improving the overall performance of the emulator and adding additional features. The result is an enhanced version of what was already the best 3DS emulator for Android operating systems.
A number of configuration options
Although it is not strictly necessary as you can start playing from the first minute, you can configure Mandarine to optimize your experience with it. From the options tab you can choose the graphics API you want to use when you play (OpenGLES by default) and you can also change the internal resolution at which the games will start (400x240 by default), and even add more than half a dozen texture filters for your games. In the control options you can also customize how you want to distribute all the console buttons on the screen of your Android device.
An extensive game catalog
The Mandarine compatibility list is enormous. You will find all the titles supported by the original version of Citra, and some others which have been added with subsequent updates. At the moment, however, there is no official list where you can check the proper operation of each ROM. Fortunately, almost all tests of new titles are very positive. The vast majority of games work without graphical errors or bugs, although some specific titles simply do not work.
The best Nintendo 3DS emulator for Android
Download the Mandarine APK if you want to play the best Nintendo 3DS ROMs. Thanks to this powerful emulator you can enjoy one of the best catalogs for portable video game consoles in history, with a number of exclusive titles.
